Packing

I had stopped packing for a while. (No, not because shredding my 665 address labels took it out of me.) We were having a hard time hammering out the deal on the house and weren't sure what was going to happen. But things are completely a "go" now and we're both packing like crazy people. Let me offer a few thoughts on packing...

1. I have a lot of stuff. I put it away well, but there's a ton of it.
2. I'm pretty lucky that I'm not changing jobs. I've taken easily four or five big, heavy boxes to school. I'm not sure where it all will end up there....
3. Please, dear friends, do not let me EVER buy another pen. Pens seem like the dumbest things to move, but I'm packing them up.
4. I'm not taking a grad class this spring. I was a little sad at first, but now that I see the quantity of photos and photo albums that I need to organize, I'm wondering if I'll even be able to go to work.

So, I think this is enough of a break from packing. I need to get back to my piles of stuff so that I have a prayer of being ready to move on Friday. Wow.
