Tag. I'm it?

OK, Kathryn, here's what I found. My closest book is a Spanish dictionary and page 123 (which fell out about 15 years ago but which I've kept with the book due to a series of rubber bands) is the Cs in Spanish. Lines 5, 6, and 7 are:

honeycomb (the entry was "cera") cerámica F (arte) ceramics, (objectos) pottery (a. ~s pl.) cerámico ceramic

I considered changing the rules and including dictionary entries 5, 6, and 7 on that page because the next entry is cerbatana (peashooter). I like that word. The following entry is "cerca," which, for the non-Spanish-speaking people out there means "fence" and "close by." I've always found that dual-meaning interesting and it's the kind of word thing that I like to throw out at kids. One other Spanish-English word thing that I love is:
TUNA (English=a fish you eat, Spanish=a traditional singing group that started in the Middle Ages)
ATÚN (Spanish=a fish you eat [tuna], English=something you sing [a tune])

OK, so now you're sure I'm a complete nerd.

A little checking around taught me that this is called a meme. (I could type out the definition or you could go to wikipedia yourself.) Here are the rules:
1. Pick up the nearest book
2. Turn to page 123.
3. Find lines 5, 6, 7, and post them.
4. Tag five people.

Karen, Jean, Shane, Alyssa and Cara...you've been tagged.

I LOVE it. These kinds of things make me feel like I'm a kid again and we really are able to play together still. :-)
