1. I just got on Facebook. I feel a little like I have entered a foreign country. The customs and expectations there a little strange to me, but I think things will be fun once I've learned what to do.
2. One of my students is one of the 12 finalists on the High School Musical show. They describe him as quiet--he really is. I heard him talk more ON NATIONAL TV than I did in my class (which, to refresh your memory, is a language class). I'm rooting for him. Go Ether!
