Pink towels

I hate pink towels. Let me rephrase....I hate towels (formerly some other color) that got washed with something red. I am careful with my red things. Red things only get washed with other red things, purple things or burgundy things. If I am desperate, I wash red things with something that is both black and old. Well....I washed a bag with ONE RED HANDLE with some of my (formerly blue and tan) new kitchen towels. Everything came out vaguely pink. I was sure that some bleach and anothe wash would solve the problem, but NOOOOOOO! PInkish towels. In my kitchen. So please, in my honor, in this upcoming holiday season in which it is so tempting to give and use red towels, don't.
