Elsa is learning the beauty of the snow day. A giant storm hit Monday night and school was canceled for me for Tuesday (and then Wednesday, as well). We've been spending a lot of time listening to Christmas carols, playing with toys, making cookies and of course, reading. We'll be back at school tomorrow, but we've had a nice couple of days. Mealtimes have been a bit more leisurely than usual and Elsa has gotten a kick out of watching/listening to me sing Christmas carols while I feed her her avocado, sweet potato and squash. I really wish I knew some songs other than Christmas carols because she seems to love music. It has also been fun because Elsa's little baby giggle is changing into a full on, recognizable laugh. There's really no better sound.
