My car is going to turn over 100,000 miles today. There were many times that I thought it would never make it there. (The entire computer system went out before it had 6,000 miles on it and there have been numerous repairs since.) Ten years in I can admit that I do love that VW. It's a nice car to drive and is finally old enough that I don't worry so much about dings or scratches. Bring on the next 100,000 miles.
As I write, our 50+ year old windows are being replaced. (Yeah!) The new ones are so pretty and I'm looking forward to sleeping in a room with triple pane windows. The noise and heat could make it a long day for Tom, Anna and me.
