It turns out that July 31 was a very well-documented day in our life. I had my camera out because of our trip to the zoo with Grandpa. He's been asking us to go all summer. I've been waiting for a relatively cool day and had to finally admit that there aren't any cool days coming up before we're back in school. We packed up water and a bag and spent the morning looking at the animals, watching the penguins get fed and just generally enjoying the zoo.

Elsa is quite the photographer. She does a good job getting everyone in the shot, too. Looks like you guys had lots of fun at the zoo! Really sorry I didn't get a chance to call you when I was in Lincoln. I told my Mom we needed to plan things in advance of us coming there and she did such a great job planning that we had hardly a free minute!
