Pink boots

Anna still talks a lot without saying words that we understand....Lots of talking to the cat, constant chattering about this or that, but the actual words are hard to hear.  However, this morning, as I suggested purple sparkly shoes or pink shoes, Anna clearly said, "I want pink boots."  It warmed my heart.

UPDATE...3/1/14  The pink boots are now too small, according to Derek.  They've been hidden in the basement.  Anna is also talking more than ever.  When Papa Sheppard dropped her off the other night, he said that she ate ham for dinner and she added in, "I like ham."  My neighbor told me that Anna would use sentences when she really started talking and she was right.
