Anna at 2

I'm not sure if I've written any of these things about Anna yet....

1.  Her favorite summer activity is saying hi to the neighbors' concrete pig.  I mentioned taking a walk tonight and she popped up said, "Hi pig, mom!"  (She also likes to finish the walks to the pig by walking a few more blocks to the neighborhood bar.  She's partial to the benches outside the door where the smokers sit.)

2.  She WILL NOT let me read to her.  She's fine with picking out a couple of books and reading side by side, but she doesn't like me reading to her.  She's got her own story to tell and will sit there and talk quite a long time without any help from me.

3.  She loves to sing.  I was sitting on the couch tonight and she finally made me stand up and sing some song along with her.  I'm never really sure what the song is.
