The summer, so far

The 4th of July marks the beginning of the end of the summer. 😢 So far, I have not read any books for school, I have not previewed a movie that I've had since April, I haven't finished the third season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and I haven't even come close to watching a TED Talk a day, we haven't instituted an hour of quiet reading time per day and my house isn't particularly clean. We have, however, been to the pool several times and painted the kitchen. I made King Ranch chicken, which was easy and tasty, I let my class out early on July 3 just because, I've gotten better at managing my Google Keep (and have my list of TED Talks there for when I finally watch them), I got my library apps figured out so I was able to listen to the soundtrack from Hamilton and A Man Called Ove, which was so good that it made me want to get out of bed early so I could walk and listen to my book. (And helped me remember why I love the library so much.) All in all, a completely successful summer, so far.
