Blogs and things

Some of you may start getting comments from my mom on your blogs. She's figured out how to get to my blog and now she wants to make comments. I set her up with a google identity this afternoon and she's ready to go. I told her to practice several times over the next few days and I bookmarked several blogs for her. Why do I do this to her? Well, let's blame it on college and cognitive psychology. The brain really can learn new things (with practice) and it's good for all of our brains to learn and do different things. I remind myself of that when I teach a new class, practice hand bells...or study cognitive psychology. Then there's the whole teacher thing--making people do something new is what I do, it's my product. I probably also do it just because I'm her kid and I like to push her to do things. Now that she's got a google identity, I'm already plotting the next computer thing I'm going to teach her. Will it be google docs? Will it be uploading and printing her own pictures? Will it be printing coupons from the web? Only time will tell....

OK, Malia, I will try this again...and for those of you who read her blog, I have already tried once to comment and failed!!!I am a bit anxious at the thought of everyone reading what I say...how's that for an extreme extrovert? I like reading what you say everyday, Malia......can reading blogs be equated with reading books? Love You, Mom

Good job, Mom! It came through perfectly. Don't worry about everyone reading what you say--that's part of the fun.
