The oven at my condo, after several trips by the repair person, has finally died. (Not good) My property manager emailed yesterday to tell me that I could order the stove online with my credit card and get free delivery of the new stove and disposal of the old stove. ($80 in savings? Sign me up!) I bought the new stove online yesterday (my biggest internet purchase ever) and through the magic of the internet, I saw that the prices for the same stove are about $70 higher today. (Yeah me!) The new stove doesn't get delivered until after Christmas, but maybe my tenants didn't want to bake Christmas cookies.
Elsa has a temperature and needs to stay home tomorrow. (Not good) For some reason, I decided that my students needed a packet of verb review work for tomorrow so I have a pretty decent sub plan ready to go. No racing around try to think of something for them to do. (Or worse....going to school at 5AM to get it ready.)
Derek installed under cabinet lights in our kitchen yesterday. There's nothing "not good" about that except for the fact that improved lighting means that crumbs are easier to see, so I'll need to step up my kitchen cleaning.
I'm feeling pretty lucky.
