February, so far

I'm sitting here with the girls watching Despicable Me for the second time this weekend.  It really is a heartwarming movie and I think I love it because Elsa remembers it as "that movie where the girls get adopted."  Anna is all over our house--she crawls faster than most people walk.  She's pulling herself up on everything and would like to walk.  Just this morning she climbed up on Elsa's picnic table and ended up on top.  I had visions of Grandpa Wes saying "Danger! Danger!" We've laughed about that, but it did seem a little dangerous to have Anna up there.

Valentine's Day was fun.  Anna got a book and the traditional Valentine's favorite--organic spinach and kale puffs.  Elsa got a Disney Princess umbrella and has spent the last few days wishing for rain.  I got pink daisies and Derek got a bag of chocolate.  All in all a good holiday for us.  Elsa is already talking about Easter and I'm starting to wonder when the candy holidays end.

Derek is working on putting in a new floor in his bathroom.  Like most things he does, it looks great.

Your Valentines Day sounds "sweet"! As it should be!

We are going to be in Lincoln for Patty's 80th birthday around March 17th - will make a point to stop by!
