Fall Break

Fall Break is shorter than it used to be, but we're packing in as much as we can. Anna decided a few weeks ago to visit her grandparents on her own. They came to Lincoln for volleyball on Sunday and took Anna home with them. (She was so excited to go that she wanted to pack her backpack two days early.) On Monday, Elsa and I went with Grandma Marlene to get manicures. Even I got my mails painted! Once our nails were (sort of) dry, we drove to get Anna. Lunch was tacos (yum!!!!) and Anna helped make the dessert. We spent the afternoon joyriding in the golf carts (even Anna can drive now--as long as she sits on Elsa's lap), playing bocce ball and softball outside and playing knock in the barn. Before the bugs got too bad, we enjoyed the porch on the barn.

On Tuesday, we went to the Roca Pumpkin Partch with Uncle Shane. He thought that we were just going to get some pumpkins. Little did he know.
